Next Up 10th Anniversary Party & Go Skateboarding Day 2019
June 21st is the longest day of the year, first day of summer, and the annual Go Skateboarding Day.
June 21st of 2019 had an extra element of importance to Next Up—it was our 10th ANNIVERSARY!
We have been providing skate classes, mentoring, workshops, field trips, and skate pro sessions for the past 10 years, and we wanted to thank every volunteer and every kid that has been through Next Up programs. To celebrate our 10thanniversary, Bumbag & and professional skateboarder Sebo Walker joined forces with Next Up and designed and produced our own shoulder bag with 100% of the sales going to support Next Up. Dwindle Distribution, The BumBag crew, Aluminati Skateboards, Keen Ramps, Dickies, and Vans helped throw a memorable party for our community.
To top off the fun after all the games, high Ollie contest, giveaways, and food, we announced the three scholarships to Woodward donated by Dickies. Gabriel Torres, Oscar Cervantes, and Martin Saldana are going to spend an entire week at Woodward West because of the kindness of Dickies! We wanted to thank the whole crews at Dwindle Distribution, Darkstar, Wreck Wheels, Bumbag, Aluminati Boards, Keen Ramps, Dickies, and Vans for making this date SO SPECIAL!! Thank you guys for being so supportive!!
