Next Up & The Berrics – Skate & Graphic Design Program

After a long 10-year run in the city of Anaheim, California, we have officially moved our activities to Los Angeles; however, this time in partnership with the renowned industry trailblazer, Berrics.

The program takes place after school from 4 to 6 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and this time it is focused on graphic designing—an important piece of the skateboard industry. Middle and Junior High School students are currently learning Photoshop & Illustrator skills and creating a Next Up x Berrics collab capsule that includes a T-shirt, a bucket hat, a sticker pack, a griptape, and a board. In addition, students are also going to call manufacturers to negotiate price and turnaround time for the delivery of products.

The capsule will be available at the Canteen (Berrics online shop) for sale, and the proceeds of sales are going to fund the next cohort of students for 2023. Stay tuned!
