Next Up at the State of the City 2018

The State of the City is an event that benefits ACT (Accelerate Community Together) Anaheim and the youth of our city, celebrates recent accomplishments, and unveils new initiatives for Anaheim in 2018. Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait gave his final State address Tuesday, February 6th, before he steps down at the end of the year, and we couldn’t be any happier. Here are his words about Next Up, “There are so many of you in this room that are bringing kindness to life. [Vinicius] Vina Tinoco and the team at Next Up Foundation are using the sport of skateboarding to teach kids character, values and responsibility. They have gotten hundreds of neighborhood kids involved. Not only do they teach them skateboarding, they help with homework and teach computer skills — truly transforming their lives.”
