Grip Tape Art Workshop with Spank Grip

Lawrence, the founder of Spank Grip, paid a visit to Next Up to instruct a “Griptape Art Workshop”. He is an incredibly talented artist, and loves to create his own griptape graphics by using stencils or by free hand.

During our workshop, Lawrence discussed his love for art, and explained that his goal was for participants to be free and express themselves however they wanted. The workshop materials consisted of several unique stencils (made by Lawrence), and a zine with instructions on how to create your own stencils. Once the participants started, you could feel the creative energy fill up the room!

Next Uppers showed their creativity and also gratitude for Lawrence. It was an exciting afternoon at Next Up, and we look forward to seeing Lawerence at Next Up HQ again.
