DGK Saved by Skateboarding at Next Up

Another remarkable event for the books! On November 18^th of 2018, our friends from DGK, a renowned skateboarding brand, came to Next Up for a barbecue, skate contest, giveaways, and an amazing community engagement. Hot dogs, chips, and water were served during the event for the attendees. DJ Qloqwise, (Clockwise) was responsible for spinning and playing the best tunes, and giving the event a great atmosphere. It’s beautiful to see how skateboarding brings people together! We had a great best trick contest for the kids of different age groups with amazing prizes; a product toss giveaway that everyone scrambled and trampled each other to get the best skate product they could — it was great. Special shout out to the DGK family, Marcio Torreta, and Jeff Barranga for volunteering and helping the event run smoothly. See you guys next time!
