A group of 15 Next Up Skaters piled in a van and headed to Los Angeles, California to attend the 2017 Street League Super Crown skateboarding contest. This was one of the most energetic and memorable trips yet, but we’ll let the kids tell you about it for themselves:
“My experience at SLS was fantastic because I got to meet Louie Lopez and watch all the pro skaters. I also had a great time with my friends!” — Jose Caldera (age 13)

“My experience at Street League was Awesome. It was my first time. I got to meet Loui Lopez and Sean Malto and also ran into Nick Tucker! 🙂 It was so shocking watching all the pros land insane tricks. I was yelling the whole time; after it was over I lost my voice.” –Mark Miller (age 15)
“My experience at SLS was wonderful, as it was my first time. Louie Lopez signed my Converse and I got to meet my favorite skater Torey Pudwell. We had good seats to see everybody skate, and we all had a good time. (:” — Fernando Zuniga (age 14)
