Next Up Pro Guest Nick Tucker

It took more than a year to make this dream a reality, but at least the day came.  Professional skateboarder Nick Tucker came to Next Up full of hype on the 29th of August to skate and hang with our participants.  Andrew Mendez, one of our oldest participants, enthusiastically described Nick’s visit:  “He hung out with us like he was any other Next Up member.  He didn’t just act like a pro skater.  It was so cool.”  Pro skaters become idols and role models to young kids all over the world, and their actions, words, and attitudes have an impact.  Days like this are a dream-come-true, and we are thrilled to be able to give our students these opportunities.  Thank you, Nick!  You are welcome any time!
