NEXT UP FOUNDATION IS SUB-RECIPIENT OF THE ACT GRANT ANAHEIM,CA.

On April 3, 2014, Accelerate Change Together for Anaheim (ACT Anaheim) awarded $1.5 million in inaugural grants to 10 local nonprofits and the their community partners to address gaps in services for underserved Anaheim youth. Angels Baseball, the Anaheim Ducks and Disneyland Resort along with the Orange County Community Foundation launched ACT Anaheim to serve at-risk youth of all diverse backgrounds to support their development, education, and healthy lifestyles, which Next Up Foundation is committed as our mission.The inaugural ACT grantees were selected based on their ability to address the specific needs outlined in the 2012 Anaheim Youth Services Assessment. Next Up Foundation received funding to provide youth mentoring sessions that will take place from May 2014-May 2015 with partnership of the Boys and Girls Club- Anaheim.
