On July 26th we took a van with 14 Next Up-pers and drove straight to Sun Valley. Our mission was to skate the famous Sheldon plaza. It took us 2 hours to get there, but the waiting in traffic was worth it. Sheldon is a very impressive plaza with rails, transitions, ramps, gaps, hubbas, stairs and everything that a street skater could ask for. The heat was definitely hard to beat, but we had water and a big desire to skate the park. Every trip we go, we meet someone cool. This time wasn’t different, we got to see the Japanese rising star Yuto Horigome skate for our second time. We’d like to thank all Sheldon locals for having us at their park!
