Chris Cole & Next Up Foundation

Throughout November and December of 2015, we had an online fundraiser on Indiegogo. Our goal was to raise funds in order to expand our skateboarding programs; as people donated money to our cause, they could choose one of our perks, and one of those perks was a day with Chris Cole at the Monster x DC Shoes private skate park. Nick Ajluni, one of our friends and donor, went out of his way and found a donor — Buscemi Co., an import and export company — that donated $2500 to our cause and chose “Chris Cole” as they perk. Buscemi, instead keeping its perk, donated it back to Next Up and asked us to take our kids and give them the opportunity to skate with Chris Cole. Here’s what happened in middle April of 2016 because of Nick and Buscemi’s kindness.
