Broken Decks Are Cool

On Sept. 19th & 26th, Annette Castellanos, a local graphic designer and friend of ours, brought a lot of good intentions and enthusiasm into our “Success Lab” and showed our kids something cool about broken decks — make them pieces of art! Annette shared with our students her passion and skills to paint broken skateboard decks. As expected the workshop was a huge success, and ever since we have been saving our broken and old decks for future workshops. We are looking forward to seeing you, Annette. Thanks for coming!
