Barbecue Bash 2017

On September 30th, the Anaheim community came together to help Next Up throw a beautiful and successful end-of-summer fundraiser at the Success Lab and skate park.  The party featured delicious authentic Brazilian BBQ; live art by Josh Madrid, Eric “Mural” Martinez, and Andres Alfonso; and non-stop groovy tunes by DJ Vince.  Coldwater Eyewear came to support with stacks of stylish shades and their crew of highly-talented team riders to demo for the kids.  Vans, Dwindle, Diamond Supply Co., MobGrip, TransWorld SKATEboarding, Baker, Dickies, Almost Skateboards, One Moon, Sovrn Republic, Cold Water Eyewear, Woodsnap, and Powell-Peralta sponsored our event with some rad giveaways, and our loving donors helped to put together a killer Silent Auction spread to help us raise some funds for the program.  Thank you to our sponsors, donors, friends, and family for making memories with us.  Above all, thank you to our KIDS for helping Vina and Chloe to get the building ready and make Next Up feel like HOME.  You are the reason we do all of this.  Much love!  Until next time!
