Shoe Sketch & Design Workshop with Creative Flow

On September 25^th, Next Up initiated a four-part Art Workshop series in partnership with Creative Flow of Long Beach. The first part of our series was our “Shoe Art — Sketch & Design” workshop sponsored by Vans. Our participants had to design and sketch their own vans slip-ons, and let their imaginations run wild and try to bring their dream designs to reality. Some were silly, crazy looking, and some seemed as if Vans had designed those shoes themselves. In December, the kids will get the chance to paint their own designs on actual a Vans slip-ons and keep them. Thanks to Creative Flow for providing such experience to our students and thanks to Vans as well for sponsoring this activity. Stay tuned for following workshops!
