Next Up Foundation – STEEZ YOURSELF benefit party

On Oct 27th Vans hosted Steez Yourself – a benefit party for Next Up Foundation. On top of that, the “Just One Board” program, ran by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) and the Go Skateboarding Day foundation has donated 50 complete skateboards to support the two locations Next Up has and to kick off a third one possibly in Long Beach,CA.

Just One Board mission is to collect used but functional skateboard equipment, refurbish and re-distribute it to underprivileged kids with the help of skateshops, community organizations, skateboard manufacturers and you.

The party was fueled by vitamin water, a variety of snacks and a lot of hot dogs and quesadillas all served kindly by Steve Van Doren and his crew.  It was an awesome day with a lot of fun and of course a lot of SKATEBOARDING! We would like to thank Geoff Rowley and Christian Hosoi for showing us some mad love.  Josh Friedberg at Just One Board for making the 50 completes donation possible, everyone who someway, somehow made this happen, Vitor Borger for editing this video and a Special Thank to Steve Van Doren and his crew at Vans for giving us such an incredible day! Next Up family was stoked!
